Paneer Butter Masala

 Here’s a delicious and easy Indian recipe you can try:

A rich, creamy North Indian curry made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) in a buttery tomato gravy.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 250g paneer (cubed)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 2 medium onions (finely chopped)

  • 3 tomatoes (pureed)

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 10–12 cashews (soaked in warm water)

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • ½ cup fresh cream

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare cashew paste: Blend soaked cashews into a smooth paste. Set aside.

  2. Cook onions: Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste: Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Add tomato puree: Cook until oil separates from the mixture.

  5. Spices time: Add turmeric, red chili powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well.

  6. Add cashew paste: Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes.

  7. Add paneer cubes: Mix gently and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

  8. Finish with cream & garam masala: Stir in fresh cream and garam masala. Simmer for 2 minutes.

  9. Garnish: Add chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with naan, roti, or jeera rice.
